That path took him from Fort Hood, Texas to Bosnia, and eventually to the legendary beer town of Bamberg, Germany—where everything changed. It was there that Joe discovered a deep appreciation for traditional European brewing: clean, intentional, and rooted in craft. What started as curiosity turned into years of hands-on “research and development,” shaping a philosophy we still follow today: Keep it simple. Make it exceptional.
