WE WANT YOU TO FIND YOUR TRIBE... Post service can actually feel strange and leave you a little lost without your structured life and no longer having a company bond. Many of us moved to this area - out on land and isolated. Ya- you know your neighbors via a wave on the backroad... but that's usually about it. So, the depth of loneliness from such a drastic lifestyle change is real... we've lived it. Opening 12 Fox has been a game changer - we've met so many neighbors and have come to truly love our countryside community. The idea of fireside chats came about during the 2020 shutdown, but it wasn't truly formed until the suicide of one of our amazing and inspirational customers really hit home. Suicide is real, it's often unexpected and it always fucking sucks. Fireside Chats has created an opportunity to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly with our peers. We welcome you to come out - meet great people and who knows, you might just find your tribe and a new after the battle buddy on a Monday night over snacks and a beer. We have been very lucky with the outpouring of INCREDIBLE Veteran run Foundations that are focused on helping Veterans and First Responders in our great state. We are compiling a list and will likely call on them to come out as a featured outreach option at future meetings, but for NOW- this is about getting to know your neighbors and hopefully finding a new local connection to share the ups and downs of post service life over a beer. We are grateful for all of you that came out on Monday - we've had a nice mix of careers and experience levels join us. Suicide Struggles or not- a night out of the house for time around the fire with peers is healthy... we hope you take the time to show up on any given Monday from 7-9pm.
